Leadconfirm, a new product by San Diego-based Confirm Bioscienes, lets parents know whether their kids are exposed to excessive lead levels in the body by testing saliva using cheek swabs. Available at selected drug stores and online sites, the product retails for $79.99, a cost that includes lab fee, mailer to the envelope and the collection kit.
